FAQs

What are your hours?
Our office is open on weekdays Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm. All therapy sessions are by appointment only.  We currently have two licensed therapists that are taking new clients.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash and checks. An increasing number of clients are choosing to self-pay and not use their health insurance.

We offer reasonable rates and provide receipts for those who want to send them in for potential reimbursement. Benefits to not filing insurance:
  1. Your insurance company cannot dictate the terms of treatment. This can limit your number of sessions or length of treatment.
  2. Your diagnosis and treatment remain confidential instead of your insurance company knowing your personal information.
  3. Many services may not be covered by insurance.
The health insurance industry is undergoing changes. Some of the more dramatic changes impact the field of mental health treatment. It is hoped that issues regarding coverage for mental health treatment, to include both short and long-term problems, will be addressed resulting in insurance coverage that is more conducive to client needs. We are monitoring this issue closely and will open more payment options as they become available.

How do I set up an appointment?
When you call the office at (863) 398-7678 we will be happy to schedule your appointment or answer any questions you  have at that time.  In the event we are with a client and you receive our voice mail, please leave your name and a number and we will contact you as soon as possible.

How long does therapy last?
Sessions range in time from 50 to 120 minutes depending on the service provided. The decision regarding length of treatment (number of sessions) is made in a collaborative effort between client and therapist. Length of treatment depends upon a number of factors. Our treatment model includes: goal setting, treatment planning and progress monitoring. The therapist will often have an idea, during your initial session, regarding the process to address your treatment needs and will share this with you.
